Last day of June

I finished knitting the Adamas shawl. It's both my first shawl ever AND my first lace project. It took alot of patience and perseverance. Now that it's blocking and I'm looking at the final product, all I can say is "Wow"! The merino/silk yarn is so soft and it looks fantastic. It's hard to beleive I made this.

Too hot to knit...I think not!

I managed a sun burn while knitting this afternoon. I didn't put on sunblock because I wasn't going to knit for more than a minute. Yeah! well the shawl lace pattern is addictive and I just kept on doing just one more row. I'll post a picture soon. I must say it was lots of fun.
